Anthony was born April 10, 1960 to the late Henry Edward "Bud" Hadley and Emma Lee Johnson Hadley. At an early age, he committed his life to Christ and became a members of Montrose Missionary First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Jim Hadley.

Anthony Edward Hadley, Sr. lived a wonderful, adventurous and purposeful life. He provided care, comfort, and support to many while asking for nothing in return. He was full of love and there wasn't a person in sight he didn't treat as family. His happiness truly came from family, fishing, helping all those in need, but mostly he loved to drive his tractor, 8520 John Deere, and drink his RED SODIE POP. Anthony truly believed in helping someone, even when he didn't have it himself. He leaves behind the hopes and dreams of a community where God's love leads and guides us all. Whenever you are giving unselfishly, drinking a cold RED SODIE POP or sitting on your porch, know that he is still living amongst us, he is in your heart and spirit.

Anthony passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Delta Health System, Greenville, MS. He leaves to cherish his memories his beautiful wife, Isabell Best Hadley of Montrose; forever children, Amy Marshall of Montrose, Pamela McCone of Dermott, Lucy Best Woods(Sheldrick) of Sherwood, LaToya Winfrey(Barry) of Fulton, Erica Stanley of Little Rock, Jackie Hadley of Eudora, and Anthony Hadley, II of Montrose; bonus son, Dantrell White; three godchildren, Jaleigha Houston, MaLaysha Woods, and Kyndall Woods; 18 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 10 brothers, Jim Hadley(Alberta) of Montrose, Dan Hadley(Evelyn) of St. Louis, MO, Andrew Hadley(Mary) and Buddy Hadley of Detroit, MI, James Hadley of Pine Bluff, Bishop Danny Mays(Carolyn), Willie Mays(Paula), Eddie "Dee" Mays(Beverly) and Phillip Mays of Hamburg, Mike Dickens(Lisa) of Troy, MO; three sisters, Henryetter Curtis(Herman) and Veargie Carolina(Henry) of Montrose and Jackie Marie Hadley of Salem, OR.
