Funeral Service for Denise Darcel Lee Bailey, 69, of Dermott, AR will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024. Service will be held at St. Paul Baptist Church, 415 West Iowa Street, Dermott at 11:00.  Rev. Doran Newhouse, Pastor and Officiating Minister.

Denise was born on May 19, 1955 to Jesse Lee and Annie Lavaly Lee in Chicago, Illinois. In later years, they moved to Dermott and she attended Chicot County High School. After completing school, she became employed with Wells Lamont Glove Factory. Later she received training in Dietary and began working as a Dietician at McGehee Hospital and later at Dermott City Nursing Home, where she retired. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist, Dermott, under the leadership of Rev. Doran Newhouse.

Denise passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at her home. She leaves as survivors one daughter, Felicia Shields of Little Rock, AR; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jesse Lee of Arlington, TN, Remona Lee of Texarkana, TX, and Titus Lee (Brenda) of Dermott, AR; one stepson, Mathew Bailey, Jr. of Dermott; one stepdaughter, Ruthie Bailey of Little Rock and, her special friend, Paul Evans of Dermott, AR. She is preceded in death by one son, Craig Stiff.

Private Visitation for family ONLY will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, from 3:30 to 4:30, Dillard Funeral Home, 111 North Freeman Street, Dermott.

Burial will take place at Davis Cemetery, Dermott. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 111 North Freeman Street, Dermott.
