Funeral Service for Mrs. Martha Jackson, 71, of Dermott, AR will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025. Service will be held at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 1109 North School Street, Dermott; Rev. Michael Wolfe, Pastor; Rev. Lawrence Glover, Pastor of First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church, Officiating Minister.

Martha was born on August 4, 1953 to late Robert Hewing and Donnie Mae Tate Hewing in Parkdale, Arkansas. In 1969, she married the love of her life, Will Jackson, and they were married for 56 years and to this union, four children were born.

Martha, having been baptized and accepting Christ as Lord and Savior, attended First Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Glover where she proudly served and assisted with the hospitality committee. She worked as a CNA (Private Home Care) for over 20 years with Chicot Chicot Memorial Hospital. She attended school at Chicot County High School and Morris Booker College. Her hobbies were shopping, dancing (Dancing Queen) vacationing, and cooking.

She is survived by her husband Will Jackson (Martha) of Dermott, AR; four children, Martha A. Jackson of Dermott, AR, Kathy Wilson (Robert) of Columbus, GA, Shunda Jackson-Feltson (Jarvis) of Clinton, MS, and David Jackson (Angie) of Pine Bluff, AR; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Olee Hewing of Dermott, AR.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home, 111 North Freeman Street, Dermott, AR.

Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Boydell, AR. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 111 North Freeman Street, Dermott. AR.
