Funeral Services for Mrs. Wonnie L. Brooks, 97, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2025. Service will be held at Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church, 142 Ashley 733, Jerome, Arkansas; Bishop Alfonso Madden, Officiating Minister.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Portland, Arkansas November 23, 1927 to the late Henry Johnson and LuBertha Mungen Johnson.

Mrs. Brooks was the mother of two children; son, John Frank Coakley (wife Vadie Jean); daughter , Wilma Jean Collins (husband, Gerald). John Frank and Vadie Jean were the parents of 9 children, 30 Grandchildren and 41 Great Grandchildren. Wilma Jean and Gerald are the parents of 5 children, 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one brother, Henry Johnson, Jr. and one sister, Evora Sykes.

She leaves behind many family members and friends, Luebertha Bailey, Sharron Sykes, James Sykes and Ray Diamond.

Her favorite hobbies were baking cakes and pies, and fishing.

Public viewing for Mrs. Brooks will be held Monday, June 30, 2025, at Bethel Temple from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30.
