Funeral Service for Yvette Lavern Jackson, 50, of Greenbrier, AR will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022. Service will be held at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 4916 High Street, Fort Smith, AR; Rev. Sam Walton, Pastor; Pastor Mack Jackson, Officiating Minister.
Yvette was born on April 9, 1972 to Mary Louise Jackson in Dermott, Arkansas. She attended school at Dermott High School and graduated with the class of 1990. Her work career was spent in the healthcare field for most of adult life.
Yvette passed on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Conway Regional Medical Center, Conway, Arkansas. She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She passed away Peacefully at the age of 50 surrounded by family. She enjoyed helping people and going to yard sales, interior decorating and was the life of the party. She is survived by two sons, Greg Phillips of Jonesboro, AR and Malik Giffin of Fort Smith, AR and five siblings, Mack Jackson (Everteen) of Fort Smith, AR, Scott Harris (Teresa) of Oklahoma City, OK, Shirley Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Cynthia Johnson of Little Rock, AR, and Teresa Abraham of Atlanta, GA and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. She is preceded in death by one brother, Franklin Ward.
Visitation will be held starting Wednesday afternoon from 1 to 4 and Thursday from 9 to 6 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Trotter Street, Dermott, AR.
