BOBBIE A. BEARDEN FARRIS

Funeral Service for Mrs. Bobbie A. Farris, 81, of Lake Village, AR will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022. Service will be held at Second Baptist Church,719 Luna Street, Lake Village; AR; Rev. Johnny Redman, Jr., Pastor; Rev. Jessie Washington, officiating minister. Viewing will begin at 12:00 noon.
Bobbie was born on August 17, 1940 to Charlie Bearden and Clora Hannah in Lake Hall, Arkansas. She married John Robert Farris and they resided in Lake Village, Arkansas until her death.
Mrs. Farris attended school and graduated from Central High School (Lakeside High School), Lake Village, Arkansas. She attended A. M. & N College (Now UAPB) and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education. She taught school in the Lake Village School District for 42 years. Bobbie enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family; her two daughters, especially. She also enjoyed decorating her church, St. Peter's AME Church.
Mrs. Farris passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at University of Arkansas Medical Center, Little Rock. She is survived by her husband, John Robert Farris, of Lake Village, AR; two daughters, Stephanie Blanchett (Michael) of Maumelle, AR and Sharon Farris of Little Rock, AR; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Edwards of Lake Village, AR.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2022, at St. Peter's AME Church, Highway & Luna Streets, Lake Village. Burial will take place at the New Cemetery, Lake Village, Arkansas.
