CLARENCE BURNS

Funeral Service for Clarence Burns, 73, of Parkdale, AR, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022. Service will be held at Union Baptist Church, Parkdale; Rev. Kentrell Woods, officiating minister.
Clarence was born on July 24, 1948 to Ollie and Georgia Earnestine Dunn in Parkdale, Arkansas. He attended school at the Savage Schools in Parkdale, worked as a farm laborer and carpenter, and he enjoyed watching old television westerns such as Gunsmoke and Clint Eastwood. His religious preference was baptist. He married Helen (Brown) on August 20, 2004, in Hamburg, AR and they resided in Parkdale.
Mr. Burns passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center, Lake Village. He is survived by his spouse, Helen Burns, of Parkdale; seven children, Terrence Burns of Pea Ridge, AR, Angela Burns and LaShonda Brown of Little Rock, AR, Pamela Cobbs of Fayetteville, AR, Cedric Pace of Little Rock, AR, Stacy Brown of Crossett, AR, and Derry Parker of Fayetteville, AR; eight grandchildren; and nine siblings, Celia Davis (Willie) of Florissint, MO, Beatrice Dunn of Parkdale, AR, Johnnie Dunn of Parkdale, AR, Rose Watson (Charles) of Bastrop, LA, Evelyn Christian (James) of Bastrop, LA, Larry "Bo" Dunn of Dallas, TX, Geraldine Liggins of Chicago, IL, Joseph Dunn of Chicago, IL, and Sammie Dunn of Chicago, IL.
Viewing for Mr. Burns will be held during normal business hours Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Eudora, AR.
Burial will take place at Saint Marion Cemetery, Parkdale/Sunshine. Service entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 137 Front Street, Eudora, AR
