Funeral Services for DaQuan LaMarcus Mitchell, 25, of Monticello and formerly of Portland, AR, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022. Services will be held at Brown Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 693 Highway 160 East, Portland; Rev. Kentrell Woods officiating minister.
DaQuan was born on August 19, 1997 to Brandon Mitchell and Sharonda Miller in Montrose, Arkansas. He attended elementary and high school in Lake Village, Arkansas; graduating from Lakeside High School with the class of 2015. His hobbies and interest were outdoor sports, such as hunting and fishing; video games and other sports.
DaQuan passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at his resident in Monticello. He is survived by two sons, Armoni Mitchell of Monticello, AR and Armonti Mitchell of Monticello, AR; his parents, Brandon Mitchell Sr. of Portland, AR and Sharonda Miller of New Brunsville, TX; eight siblings, Alexandria Mitchell of Jonesboro, AR, Amaria Mitchell of Portland, AR, Brandon Mitchell Jr. of Portland, AR, KaJayla Miller of New Brunsville, TX, Gregory Miller Jr. of New Brunsville, TX, Kaydence Miller of New Brunsville, TX, Peyton Simpson of New Brunsville, TX, and Jenesyss Barnes of New Brunsville, TX; Grandmother, Ella Simpson of Montrose; Grandfather, Donnie Simpson of Monticello and his Great Grand Mother, Abbie Dean Clark of Montrose, AR.
Burial will take place at Portland #2 Cemetery, Portland. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 137 Front Street, Eudora, Arkansas.
