Graveside Services for KAREN RASHAWN HOLMES, 51, of Crossett, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024. Service will be held at the Montrose Cemetery, Highway 82B, West, Montrose.

Karen was born on March 15, 1973 to Thurman and Nora Dupree Brown in Lake Village, Arkansas. She was married to Eric Holmes of Portland. She attended and graduated from Lakeside High School, Lake Village; graduating with the class of 1992. Her church affiliation was Hunter's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Crossett.

Karen was employed at Magnolia Minor, in Hamburg as a Residence Caregiver. She was also employed at First Step at Hamburg before going to Magnolia Minor.

Karen passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Ashley County Medical Center, Crossett. She is survived by her husband Eric Holmes of Crossett, AR; three sons, Eric E. J. Holmes of Crossett, AR, Cam'Ron Holmes of Crossett, AR, and Kyrin Holmes of Crossett, AR; one grandchild; and three siblings, Thurman Brown Jr. of Little Rock, AR, Becky Brown Evans of Crossett, AR, and Telisha Brown of Little Rock, AR.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 1-4 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home, 738 East Oakland Street, Monticello, AR.
Burial will take place on Saturday at Montrose Cemetery, Highway 82B, West, Montrose, Arkansas.

Due to weather, services have been moved to St. Peters Baptist Church, 938 W Market St, Montrose, AR 71658.
