LATOYA MORRIS JOHNSON
Funeral Service for LaToya Johnson, 40, of Crossett, AR and formerly of Portland, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022. Service will be held at Brown Temple Baptist Church, Highway 160, East, Portland; Rev. Kentrell Woods, officiating minister.
LaToya was born on February 26, 1982 to Sammie and Eloise Polite in Lake Village, Arkansas. She was married to Christopher Johnson of Conway, Arkansas. She attended school in the Hamburg School District and she worked as a sales associates at Belks Department Store, Conway.
LaToya passed on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center, Little Rock. She is survived by her spouse, Christopher Johnson of Conway, AR; two sons, Krishton Johnson of Portland, AR and Dontavion Johnson of TX; her parents, Sammie Sr. and Eloise Polite of Portland, AR; and three siblings, David Morris of Little Rock, AR, Sammie Polite Jr. (Jammie) of Fayetteville, AR, and Barbara Gilliam (Taci) of Crossett, AR.
Burial will take place at Portland #2 Cemetery, Portland, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 137 Front Street, Eudora, AR.
