Funeral Service for MATT WEBB 64, of Portland, AR will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023. Service will be held at Number Two Baptist Church, Portland; Rev. Kentrell Woods, Officiating.
Matt was born on June 16, 1958 to Calvin and Estella Webb in Portland, Arkansas. He attended school in the Portland School District and worked as a farm laborer and mechanic; which he really enjoyed., especially working on cars and trucks. He will be missed by many.
Matt passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Chicot Memorial Medical Center, Lake Village, Arkansas. He leaves as survivors a very special friend, Worthy Woods of Portland; two sons, Matt Webb Jr. of Arlington, TX, Maxx Webb of Benton, AR; seven sisters, Cora Lee Kennedy (Vernon) of Chicago, IL, Eloise Webb of Chicago, IL, Earlene Turner of Homer, LA, Aleane Anderson of Homer, LA, Ethel Woods (Jack) of Montrose, AR, Peggy Webb (Rickie) of Portland, and Beatrice Webb of Portland; five brothers, Calvin Webb (Ella) of Dallas, TX, Leroy Hill of Detroit, MI, Teroy Hill (Mary) of Los Angeles, CA, Jonathon Webb of Portland, AR, and Ricky Webb (Marilyn) of Portland, AR; three brothers who preceded him in death, Lawrence Webb, Henry Webb and Kenny Shaw; five grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Matt had a host of close loved ones that viewed him as family. He was PawPaw, Dad, and Grand to both biological and non-biological children.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel, 137 Front Street, Eudora, Arkansas.
Burial will take place at Jones Cemetery, Portland, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 111 North Freeman Street, Dermott, Arkansas.
