ROBERT LEE PLUMMER
February 21, 1971 -- September 15, 2023
Funeral service for Robert Lee "Blake" Plummer, 52 of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Dermott, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023. Service will be held at New Genesis Christian Fellowship Ministries, 721 South Trotter Street, Dermott; Rev Ricky Fuquay Officiating.
Robert was born in Dermott, February 21, 1971, to the late Rev. and Mrs. Willie Lee Plummer. He confessed his life at an early age under the leadership of his father, the late Rev. Willie Lee Plummer, at Tabernacle Baptist Church.
He was a proud graduate of Dermott High School, graduating with the class of 1989. He excelled in sports and received a scholarship to Garland Community College. On October 7, 2006, he married Marlo and to this union three children were born. Together they shared five daughters and he was a "proud" father. He loved to brag on himself but, he loved telling the world about the many accomplishments his "girls" had received and the great things they were going to do in this world.
Robert passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center, Little Rock. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Marlo of Hot Springs; five children, DaNeitra Franklin, D'Essence Grant, Katelynn Plummer, Keoina Plummer, and Rotora Plummer; three grandchildren, Ian Anderson, A'yonna Foote, and Aiden Foote; his mother, Mrs. Rosie Lee Plummer of Hot Springs, six siblings, Wanda (Arthur Lee) Willis, Alma (Willie) Parker, Elic Plummer, JoAnn Graham, Minnie (Pastor Gregory) Eichelberger, and Willie Plummer, Jr. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and the Dermott High School class of 1989.
Viewing for family and friends will be held Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home, 111 North Freeman Street, Dermott. Services entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home.
