Funeral Service for Mr. Tommie Robinson, Sr. 77 of Dermott, Arkansas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022. Service will be held at St. Paul Baptist Church, West Iowa Street, Dermott; Rev. Doran Newhouse, officiating.

He was born May 31, 1945 to the late Willie and Azalee Robinson. He confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Morning Star Church in Newport, Arkansas.

Mr. Robinson left his home in Newport and joined the U.S. Air Force where he served 25 years before retiring. He continued his educational goal by obtaining a master's degree from Chapman University in Orange, California.

Mr. Robinson passed away on Wednesday, November 8 2022, at the John L. McClellan Memorial Veteran's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Those left to cherish his memory include: his wife, Sarah Robinson of Dermott; two daughters, Corlette Jones of Dermott, Charlotte Bishop (John) of Raleigh, NC, one son, Tommie Robinson, Jr. (Crystal) of Dermott; one brother, James Robinson (Ruby) of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Brittany Jones of Virginia, Xavier Robinson of Schinnen, Netherlands, and Trinity Pearson of Wisconsin; one step-grandson, Rashard Polk of South Carolina; great grandchild, Serenity Arrington of Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Family hour for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Dillard Funeral Chapel, 210 North Trotter Street, Dermott. Masonic Rites will also be performed at this time.


Burial will be in the Veteran Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Service entrusted to Dillard Funeral Home, 210 North Trotter Street, Dermott, 870-538-5505.
